actually some on pieces are really cute when they have holes on the sides or wrap and stuff. but if you are afraid your body type will not look good in a bikini..(which always works at the beach) then wear a sexy cover-up over it..... if you are conscious about your thighs, then wear the bikini bottom that looks like a skirt..if you have a Small chest.triangle tops are good and if you have a large chest a triangle top works unless you sag a little, then you would need a halter top..(cant tell you how many times those waves took my bathing suit right off me)..so i wouldn't suggest a strapless...also, if you are looking for a little romance after being at the beach.. i would suggest a bikini bottom and top that ties so they are easy to come off...lol and tankini's are cute also.. but i know when i had one.. i didn't like how my chest looked in it.. so find the right fit for your breast.. oh and don't forget sandals that match.. the sand gets really hot!
Depends on your body type. Im curvy, but slender, and built. I usually wear a string bikini. Post your picture on here and I can tell you which one is right for your body type.

i like tankinis...they are flattering to any kind of figure (thin or curvy) and they don't show TOO much.
